Actress Kyra Sedgwick was only 16 when she made her professional acting debut on the TV soap Another World. The New York native and USC graduate went on to etch out a three-pronged career on the stage, screen, and television, earning early plaudits for her work in the latter medium. Two of her more acclaimed TV projects were Lemon Sky, a 1987 drama that had the added advantage of introducing her to her future husband Kevin Bacon, who was cast as her half-brother, and 1992's Miss Rose White, which starred Sedgwick as a Jewish career woman in search of her past.
