Karen Mulder, a blonde, blue-eyed beauty, was the face of GUESS? Jeans back in 1991 when she was only twenty-one years old. Karen was born near Rotterdam and raised in Den Haag, Holland. Karen always dreamed of being a model and one day just for fun, she entered the Elite Modeling Agency's Look of the Year Contest and won runner-up. She signed with Elite Modeling Agency and seeing her great potential, they encouraged Karen to model professionally.

Appearing in GUESS? ads along with Shana Zadrick, Karen role-played the part of a Las Vegas Show Girl and had a blast under the big city lights of "Sin City." As another discovery by Paul Marciano, president and creative director of GUESS?, Inc., Karen added her name to a long list of famous GUESS? Girls including Claudia Schiffer,Eva Herzigova, Carre Otis, and Frederique Van der Wal.

Currently with Aline Souliers Model Management, Karen resides in Monaco but finds herself in New York frequently. When she isn't working, Karen keeps her curvy 5' 10" frame fit by swimming, working out at the gym and running. Always the traveler, she loves exploring new cities and seeks out their fashion boutiques and flea markets. She enjoys reading and taking singing lessons. Not only can she speak English and Dutch, but also French, Italian and German.

One of her best friends is Carla Bruni and her favorite music is soul, pop, funk and rock-n-roll. Karen even has a Karen doll, a Karen Mulder Beauty CD-ROM and her very own video. Many people may recognize her from the Victoria Secret Catalog and annual fashion show. She is one of the current Victoria Secret Angels. Intensely passionate about music, she is currently working on her own album to be released early next year.
